Light: Requires bright, indirect light to partial sun. Adequate light is crucial to maintain the vibrant variegation and prevent it from fading. However, the white variegated portions are more susceptible to sunburn, so protection from intense afternoon sun is advisable.

Soil: Extremely well-draining soil is essential. Use a gritty cactus/succulent potting mix.

Water: Drought-tolerant. Water thoroughly only when the soil is completely dry. Avoid overwatering and ensure the plant is kept dry during winter dormancy.

Temperature: Not frost-tolerant. Winter protection is required if temperatures approach or drop below 0°C (32°F).

Fertilizer: Has low fertilizer requirements. Over-fertilizing, especially with nitrogen, should be avoided as it may encourage excessive green growth at the expense of the variegation.
