6-15cm Agave gypsophila var

This magnificent, small-to-medium-sized agave is renowned for its highly ornamental and sculptural form. The name "potatorum" means "of the drinkers," as it was historically used to make alcoholic beverages (pulque). Its common Chinese name, 波叶龙龙舌兰 (Wavy-Leaved Dragon Agave), perfectly captures the dramatic, undulating edge of its leaves.
