Mammillaria plumosa (Feather Cactus) is a mesmerizing and highly distinctive cactus renowned for its incredibly soft, feather-like spine clusters that create a cloud-like appearance. Native to Northeastern Mexico, this species forms dense, low-growing mounds of small spherical stems, each completely covered in white, plume-like radial spines that are soft to the touch—making it one of the few truly "pet-friendly" cacti.
