Native to Madagascar, this exceptional euphorbia features a low-growing, clumping growth habit: short, branching stems form dense mats that reach 8-15cm tall and 20-30cm wide at maturity, making it perfect for small spaces. Each stem is thick and succulent (1-2cm in diameter) with a smooth, green to gray-green epidermis. Its most striking trait is the deeply wrinkled, ruffled leaves—oval to oblong foliage (2-4cm long, 1-1.5cm wide) clusters at the stem tips, with crinkled edges and a textured surface that resembles folded fabric. The leaves are a rich, glossy green, and their褶皱 (wrinkles) become more pronounced with age, giving the plant its "邹叶麒麟" (Wrinkled Leaf) name. When exposed to bright light, the leaf margins may develop a subtle reddish hue, adding extra visual interest.
