Product Description

Add a cascading, mountain-inspired charm to your succulent collection with Euphorbia clivicola—commonly known as "Hill-Dwelling Spurge" or "丘栖大戟", a rare and versatile euphorbia celebrated for its creeping clumping habit, compact form, and mountain-adapted resilience!
Native to the mountainous regions of southern Africa, this exceptional euphorbia features a unique creeping and clumping growth habit: its stems grow horizontally along the soil surface, branching freely from the base to form dense, low-growing mats. Mature specimens spread 30-50cm wide while staying compact at 10-15cm tall, with individual stems measuring 2-4cm in diameter. Its most distinctive trait is the glossy green to olive-green epidermis, paired with subtle, raised longitudinal ridges along the stems—these ridges add textural interest and help the plant anchor in rocky mountain soils. The stems often develop a slight reddish tint at the tips when exposed to bright light, enhancing its natural mountain-dwelling aesthetic.
