Agave oteroi 'Hakugei' (White Whale Agave) is a highly distinctive and sought-after succulent cultivar, celebrated for its striking color contrast and architectural form. This compact agave forms a symmetrical, rosette-shaped cluster of thick, fleshy leaves that display a captivating blue-green to gray-green base color, dramatically overlaid with a thick, powdery white coating. Each leaf is prominently marked by a broad, creamy-yellow to white central stripe (mediopicta), creating a bold, variegated appearance reminiscent of a whale's pattern—hence its common name "White Whale."
