Growth Requirements

• Temperature: Thrives in warm, mild conditions. Ideal daytime temperatures range from 70–85°F (21–29°C); nighttime temperatures should not drop below 50°F (10°C). Protect from frost—temperatures below 40°F (4°C) can cause damage or death.
• 
• Light: Prefers bright, indirect sunlight or partial shade. Avoid intense midday sun, which may scorch its delicate, powdery skin. A south-facing window with sheer curtains or a shaded outdoor patio (in summer) is optimal.
• 
• Soil: Requires extremely well-draining soil to prevent root rot. Use a mix of 80% inorganic materials (pumice, perlite, coarse sand) and 20% organic matter (coco coir or low-nutrient compost).
• 
• Watering: Drought-tolerant. Water sparingly, only when the soil is completely dry (every 2–3 weeks in summer, once a month or less in winter). Avoid wetting the plant’s body to preserve its powdery coating.

• Humidity: Adapts to low to moderate humidity (30–50%). Ensure good air circulation to prevent fungal issues.
