2-5cm Euphorbia valida

Euphorbia valida, commonly referred to as "Farida Euphorbia", is a striking species in the Euphorbiaceae family indigenous to the semi-arid regions of South Africa. Its most notable characteristic is its impressive caudex: a thick, woody, and gnarled tuber that serves as the plant's base, often developing interesting textures and contours as it matures. From this sturdy tuber emerge multiple upright, slender stems that branch moderately, creating an elegant, bushy silhouette. The stems are a vibrant green, adorned with small, lanceolate leaves that cluster at the stem tips, adding a fresh, lush contrast to the rugged caudex below.
